Preserve and promote protection of our Wondrous Starlit Skies
Sponsor and hold Environmental Workshops
Participate in the Land Preservation Task Force
Encourage Landscape Design
Host a citizen volunteer corps of Litter Lifters dedicated to keeping our streets and byways litter-free
Annually local students of all ages particpate in the Litter Prevention campaign
Support the establishment of a National Scenic Area Designation for surrounding forest service land
Sponsor the Annual Native Plant Workshop
Engage citizens and authorities in issues of Noise Abatement
Sponsor the "Sedona Capture the Wonder" Photo Contest
Provide annual Scholarships to a graduating high school senior
Host the award winning Monthly Preserving the Wonder™ Speaker Series
Promote and support water conservation practices

Help keep the KSB water staff well-hydrated, donate a clean working ceramic crock water dispenser. Our kitchen area is small with little counter space, so a stand to hold the crock and 3 gallon water bottles would be great.

KSB Looking for Intern or Experienced Marketing Volunteer

Photographers since before Ansel Adams have been the best representatives of conserving our natural landscape. The breathtaking photography of such photographers as Adams, Sexton and Muench have been credited with saving much of our natural landscape when their photographs convinced Congress to pass laws to protect them. The outcome was the creation of many of the National Parks we know and love today.

Beautiful photos of Sedona can do much the same thing. Keep Sedona Beautiful has a website, http://SedonaCapturethewonder.org, where photographers can submit their photos of the beauty that surrounds us as a means to help preserve these lands. Photographers participate and help protect the beautiful landscapes of the greater Sedona area by visiting the site, making a donation to submit their photos, and then have a chance to win one of the cash prizes for their photos.

Currently, KSB is looking for an intern or someone to handle the marketing of the website and the contest. If you are a marketing student at the Community College or University level or a retired marketing professional and looking for a way to give back to your community as a volunteer, please consider using your skills to help Preserve the Wonder™ of Sedona. What could be better than being able to promote Keep Sedona Beautiful's landmark photo contest and accompanying website?

The Sedona Capture the Wonder website provides a forum for both professional and amateur photographers to test their abilities against one another and the world community chooses, via on-line voting, the photos they feel represent the beauty Keep Sedona Beautiful members and friends are devoted to protecting.
